In this installation I used the figure of the father to explore the notions of masculinity in a societal as well as private context. My dad at work, my dad at home, my dad’s stuff, my dad’s messages…
Combining both personal and found material, these arrangements of objects and photographs evokes the complex feelings associated with paternal relationships, our inherited legacies and the dynamics of social class embedded within them.
