The sculpture explores the impact of institutionalised forms of power over bodies. It is looking at ​sterilised medical equipment as well as those that humans use to dominate animals such as horse saddles and muzzles. Standing still, ​on guard or frozen, these two Doberman-like figures could be as obedient as resistive, machine of war.
