The piece is composed of two corian brackets slotted in an aluminium bar supporting a sheet of glass. The glass holds a photograph “sealed” with a 9x13 cm block of wax.

“In the back of my mind” refers to icons, altars, or mantelpieces and is part of a series of shelves alluding to the notion of heritage and memory.
