"I HANG UP OUR SORROWS WITH DILIGENCE" is an altered, ironic, absurd, and almost tragic version of everyday life. During these two months of residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts, I have conducted research on the installation work as still life. I have explored its themes and codes as tools for staging a new reality. This device allows detachment from the private sphere, thus opening the way to a fictional field. "I APPLY OUR SORROWS WITH DILIGENCE" speaks about the state of our world in general and the imprint and daily presence of violence in this context. I have created an undefined, sculptural, almost cinematic space, suggestive of all this, to question and feel.
