"Her work offers a reflection on societal forms of power, violence and resistance. She dismantles the human body and recombines it in sculpture, sound and installation. These fragments of actions invite the viewer to move into a space of speculation, oscillating between feelings of strength and distress, fusion and confrontation. She often thinks of them as events, "still images" of a past action or, about to happen. The process of making, the particular attention to detail and the use of industrial materials such as steel, rubber or glass are essential to her work and refer to collective forms of labour, mass consumption, the standardisation and trivialisation of everyday life."
